Get to Know Your Scent Sticks
Our reed sticks are made from natural rattan and come unscented, available in both 8 oz and 16 oz. sizes to match the diffuser you already have.
As long as you choose the right size, they'll work beautifully with any Alora fragrance. Your set of diffuser reeds will carry a scent until the fragrance oil runs out. Flipping them every few days is the simplest way to keep your home smelling just as lovely on day sixty as it did on day one.
Caring For Your Reed Sticks
I like to think of a diffuser as a small daily ritual rather than something to fuss over. Our reed sticks are meant to last as long as the diffuser oil itself. Our 8oz diffuser scent lasts 1-3 months, and our 16oz diffuser lasts 3-5 months.
You might notice some of your reeds look darker than others depending on the scent. This is completely normal. The essential oils in our fragrances naturally darken with time. Both heat and sunlight will increase darkening. This is a natural process and does not mean the fragrance or reed sticks have gone bad.

Yes, all our diffusers come with reed sticks. Replacement is really only needed if reeds are lost, damaged, or you want a new set.
Our reed sticks are designed for Alora diffusers, and that's where they'll perform best, but reed sticks are fairly universal by nature, so they'll likely work just fine in most other diffusers of the same size, too. Just choose the size (8 oz or 16 oz) that matches whatever bottle you're using.

No. Reed sticks on their own aren’t scented. The oil in the diffuser bottle gives them their fragrance. A fresh set of reed sticks will restore the original fragrance experience, not change it.
Both the 8 oz. and 16 oz. sets come with 12 reed sticks, the same amount you receive when purchasing a new diffuser bottle.
